The Landmark Hotel, Marylebone.

Sunday 23rd of March, Easter Sunday. It SNOWED! We started at 4am as we had lots of wired bouquets to create for the bridal party. Laura carried a wired shower of ice pink and white roses with white freesia. Her 3 bridesmaids carried a "carmen" style cymbidium orchid. This is created by wiring lots of individual orchid petals around a central orchid(or in this case 3 central orchids) The overall look is of one larger flower.

The ceremony took place at 3pm in The New West End Synagogue, St Petersburg Place, Bayswater. The chuppah was dressed with white Arum Lilies and roses with a simple folded effect of leaves around the 4 poles...tucked within the leaves were flickering candles(battery operated ones!)

The wedding reception was held in The Landmark Hotel

Our table centres were tall vases with blossom and contorted willow branches all dressed with delicate glass tea light holders. At the base of each display were more tea light holders nestled in white roses and double Casablanca tulips. Some of the tables had low displays of a similar styling but with a central multiwick candle.

The top table had low flower displays with similar contents to the guest tables, with small pedestal displays framing the table.

Eltham Palace.

On Friday the 21st of March we headed south of the river to Eltham Palace for Vanessa's wedding. We are on the recommended list of suppliers at Eltham Palace, Chiswick House and Audley End, all English Heritage properties and all absolutely stunning in their own different styles.
Vanessa chose Arum lilies to suit the Art Deco style of the Round Room in Eltham Palace. With spashes of red to tie in with the drapes in The Great Hall. The tall vases had blossom, lilies, eucalyptus adn details of James Storey orchids with a garland of ivy and fairy lights up the outside of the vase.

The Ivy Hill Hotel,Margaretting, Essex.

On Thursday 20th March we created flowers for an intimate wedding in the conservatory at The Ivy Hill Hotel.

Andrea carried a posy of mixed tones of red roses.

The table vase and registrar's table had a wonderfully vibrant mix of red, hot pink and magenta flowers.

Stock Brook Manor, Essex

On Sunday 16th March our wedding was at Stock Brook Manor - The Country Club

Bridal flowers were delivered to Enfield then we made our way to Stock Brook. The ceremony was the second of the day at the venue so decoration had to take place in stages after the first ceremony was complete.

There was a colour theme of black and white, with a splash of orange for the table centres and the groom's buttonhole only(at his request!)

Sculpture Gallery, Woburn Abbey.

On Saturday 15th March we arranged Nandita's flowers in the Sculpture Gallery, Woburn Abbey

The civil ceremony takes place at one end of the gallery and then the tables are rearranged for the wedding breakfast...that's why there aren't any chairs around the table in this picture!

The table flowers were tall slim vases with a crushed ice effect, ivy spiralled within the vase topped with a mound of white tulips. We hope the bride will forward some wedding pictures and we can add to our posts at a later date.

Children's Champions

On Wednesday the 12th March LKLily dressed The Chancery Court Hotel in Holburn. The event was Children's Champions - prestigious honours to celebrate those who go further than anyone else to make a positive difference in the lives of our kids.
It was run by News of The World and partnered in these awards were the People's Post Office, at the heart of so many communities, and Barnardo's the UK's best-known Children's Charity.

We were asked to create a "Spring Feel" and used a mass of hyacinth, ranuncula, narcissi and tulips as well as pots of primulas and guelder rose. We also provided all the table linen as well as the LED lights around the table. The napkins were dressed with a single red tulip.

The Awards can be viewed on Sky One.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown met the winners TWICE on Wednesday, first at 10 Downing Street, then again at the Gala Awards in the night when he also presented Sara Payne with A Special Judges Award.
